Founded in 1998, WCC believes in assisting nonprofit organizations through a comprehensive approach grounded in collaborative, long-term partnerships and participatory processes.
WCC provides organizational development services to nonprofit groups and community development financial institutions (CDFIs); designs and implements community-based planning processes in collaboration with local partners; provides real estate finance and development services to nonprofit developers; and, in cooperation with its development affiliate, the Alembic Development Company, builds affordable and supportive housing projects in partnership with local groups.
WCC works in the boroughs of New York City, New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, and in communities throughout the U.S.
